Copper Springs is the only rehab I would recommend to anyone needing help. It's very clean. They give you everything youd need. Very helpful and caring. James is always in a good mood which makes you wanna smile. And a lot of the nurses are just gorgeous ;) lol cable tv, plenty of snacks and stuff to drink when it's not breakfast lunch or dinner. Your own bed. It's basically like a very nice hotel. Great people once you start introducing yourself. They'll make you feel welcome. 5 stars outta 5 for sure! Thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of me!

Hands down the best psychiatric/ detox Hospital in Arizona. Not only because the facility was extremely hygienic the dining room as well as the food was exceptional. Last but DEFINITELY not lest the faculty and all around staff members where so relatable and knowledgeable that I never once felt judged A+++

So happy I found Copper Springs! It was the right place at the right time for me. Stephen Marshall was extremely helpful in giving me the tools to work with through my recovery. Great place, this was my second time at copper springs and everyone both times were very nice. I didn't have a problem with anyone. I definitely recommend copper springs for drug detox and I have to several people. A month ago was the first step and was the first day of the rest of my life. 30 days clean now. Thank you copper springs for that first hard step it was worth it.

I checked into the voluntary in-patient program for help with depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. I was hoping to get some help and advice, get some new direction in my life. I fought against the program very adamantly my first two days, I was scared and angry, but once I began to let my guard down and embrace the treatment my entire perspective changed. With the help of the appropriate meds and the incredibly patient staff, I have gained so much... I'm thinking clearly for the first time in years. I entered in a state of depression that would have killed me if I had not sought help, I left feeling empowered and confident about the future; feelings that were, up to this point, alien to me. I would highly recommend treatment at Copper Springs, embrace the treatment and get as much out of it as you can.

Update : taking score from a 1 star to a 5 star rating. Great treatment, staff is amazing excellent nursing team and Dr Amani is a fantastic Dr. Went inpatient at Copper Spring, the property was pretty, the staff were amazing but the Dr was horrible. Dr Sib... kept telling me I was going to kill myself, did I do anything to harn myself. The dr should spend more than 2 mins That should have never been told by a mental heath provider. I had staff listen to the session per my request. I filed a complaint with the hospital requested a different dr, but that didn't happen because he has a problem with a patient dumping. Now I need to go back to the hospital but I was told he is the only Dr that sees mental health patients.

Copper Springs was there for me and my family when life's struggles became too overwhelming for us to handle alone. The impatient facility was clean, the food top notch, and the staff warm and caring. The therapy and psychiatric staff was very competent and made me an active participant in my recovery. Upon leaving inpatient I enrolled in an outstanding 8 week IOP program. Therapists like Stephen and Barbara, made sure I had the tools essential to returning to the workplace, participating fully in family life, and establishing a healthy lifestyle that emphasized my personal recovery needs. When IOP was over I definitely missed the 9 hrs per week of quality care. Fortunately, every Wednesday, Copper Spring provides, free of charge, an IOP Alumni group. Through this program I was able to check in with the same therapist who had helped me in IOP in the same type of group format as IOP. This was very comforting. I could write a much more lengthy testimonial praising Copper Springs, but it comes down to this: if you need help with substance abuse or other mental health issues, give them a call, you will be glad you did.

THIS PLACE SAVED MY LIFE! I came to find Copper Springs last summer when I was first sober, I went through the intensive outpatient program and learned so much, about my addiction and about myself. Unfortunately, I did relapse, but I was so well taken care of on the outpatient side that I came to Copper Springs for inpatient and then went through outpatient again. My counselor, Stephen, was AWESOME! In fact I requested him the second time that I went through intensive outpatient. This place will give you the tools you need for your recovery.

This is one of the few psychiatric hospitals I have ever visited, where I can say with absolute certainty, that they genuinely care about their patients.

I am not totally sure of why they turn people away, but from what I remember last year, is you need to qualify for treatment based on criteria, this place helped me, they were kind and respectful, the food was excellent, if you get up everyday and go to the classes, you will learn things you never did or forgot in my case to help you deal with your addictions, when I went there, I was drinking heavily wasting my life, I even made a huge mistake right after my visit to this wonderful facility, and just about lost it all, all over again, freedom, friends, family, but today I have a house a nice new car a great paying job, and I believe this facility deserves some credit, as a matter of fact I am introducing a friend to this facility because it helped me, and I'm hoping they do the same for her or better. But you guys need to start accepting people based on their addiction and not on their pain level.

If you need help with drugs, alcohol or mental health problems, this place is AMAZING! Such wonderful, caring people in a new, clean facility. Thank you to Jaime, Joe, Tony, Patrick, Jeremy, Desiree, Ani, Dr. Piekut and Dr. Sbiliris for the care, Love, and respect. And for putting me back together!

Literally saved my life. I could not have asked for or imagined a hospital that suited my needs better. With Medical and Psych Doctors available onsite, and a great staff that treated me like a real person not a number or a check. They helped me to regain trust in myself and helped teach me the tools I've so greatly needed for a very long time. I would recommend Copper Springs to anybody with an addiction, mental health issue or combination of both. Especially if your ready to have a new life.

I couldn't be more pleased with our experience at Copper Springs. My son was taken from the ER to Copper Springs Hospital and has been battling with addiction issues for years. The facility itself is new and state of the art. I found the staff to be professional and compassionate throughout his stay. The front desk person, Kuka, was helpful. The discharge coordinator, Eric, took time to listen to a concerned parent and I felt "heard". Most of all, the community liaison, Kristin, was nonjudgmental, easy to talk to and had a wealth of information I could use going forward as my son continues on his path to recovery. I am so grateful and thank everyone who worked with us. I absolutely would refer Copper Springs to anyone facing similar challenges. What a great community resource!

Have done both the outpatient and inpatient programs here and both times I have felt ecstatic about the care I received. Unfortunately I've had to be hospitalized several times throughout my life, I can say with all honesty that Copper Springs is incredible. The outpatient team is awesome, the therapist is named Heather, and the nurse (forgive me for forgetting her name) educated me a lot about my medication. For inpatient, I was on the Meadows unit and immediately felt as comfortable as one can feel in a hospitable environment. The techs were awesome, Kristina definitely comes to mind, as well as everyone else. I honestly wished I got their names down now that I'm writing this. Bottom line though, I am very happy with both of my experiences there, and they will be the first place I turn to for help. PS, Dr Piekut is incredible. I've seen many a psychiatrist in my short 26 years of life and she will always remain the most memorable.

From check in to check out... my time at Copper Springs was exceptional. At a time when you are in most need, you are treated like a human being. The staff is extremely polite and respectful, the facility is clean and homey. The food is impressive for a place like this. I've already recommended Copper Springs to as many people as need detox or rehab in my life. My time there was a very healing and special time, and that's not something you hear about in this industry... nearly ever!

I came here and did the PHP program earlier this year. My experience in the program was wonderful. The therapist you spend all day with, her name is Heather, she is SO good at her job. This was my first time in an environment like this as I was just diagnosed as depressed. The group environment helped me to trust people again. The only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is because of how you're treated as soon as they aren't getting anymore of your money. Because I am so new to the anti-depressant world, I made an appointment with a psychologist which was a whole month out. When I went to that appointment, which was for venting my feelings AND refilling my anti-depressants, I was told that only psychiatrists can refill your script. Okay, totally never knew that. So I start calling around frantically because I only have 1 day of medication left and I don't want to go back to the mindset that I was in before I was prescribed the medication. I can't find any doctor who can get me in for at least 6 weeks. So I'm in tears, I call the front desk and ask if there is any way the psychiatrist on site would fill just one more of my anti-depressants while I wait for my next appointment with another psychiatrist and I was told no. Because I'm "no longer" a patient, they can't fill just one script for me. That sucks... to feel so much like family when they are making money off of you, just to be kicked to the curb when you really need help again. I'm not a drug addict, I'm not trying to manipulate the system to get anti-depressants. I actually need these meds, they keep my life running smoother. So for now, on my last day of taking my anti depressants for another 6 weeks, I am trying to enjoy how balanced I feel because the next 6 weeks are about to be really, really tough.

I just was released today May 23rd 2017, this place is wonderful and is by far the best facility I've been to for help. All the nurses and tecs are on time, (almost all of the nurses are nice lol) the tecs are really laid back and help you with what you need and give great advice. Plenty of things to do also. Always able to be occupied with time or on the go with groups, etc. My insurance only takes 5-7 days but I was in dire need of help I was there for about 2 weeks and they helped me pick myself up. They help with all addictions and have behavior health side as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who is serious about their change and trying to better themselves!

John was an outstanding facilitator. I changed my mind in many areas of my life. I am freed from my demons. Better yet - I am sober.

I found this place to be very good for help when in a situation, especially a crisis. The staff was very proficient, caring, and treated you respectfully. I had no problem with communicating with the staff and the doctors. Being a new facility it takes time to iron out the kinks and those were being handled efficiently. I think some of the reviews that were not a 5-star were based on it being a new facility, as well as the fact, "you get out of it what you put into it" and some patients don't take the reason they are there serious (my point of view and opinion only). The food was "the bomb", the "sleeping" rooms were well equipped and clean, same for the common areas. The doctors were friendly, knowledgeable, listened to my concerns and answered my questions. Kudos to the staff on Sunrise, they were awesome!! So was the staff on recreation, extracurricular, counseling, etc. My 5-day stay was 3/3/17-3/7/17. I have over 15 years dealing with facilities such as this when taking care of a very close family member, so my review isn't because I am not familiar with other facilities, exact opposite. I highly recommend Copper Springs Hospital and would definitely refer them. Keep up the good work!!
